Quality and environment
Tibnor strives to continuously improve operations through our management philosophy SSAB One. Each person is involved and responsible for finding and actively working on deviations and improvements in the processes. Tibnor is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001. Our management system contains documents that ensure good quality and environmental thinking. Tibnor should contribute to long-term positive development with regard to the environment. We are constantly improving our processes in order to minimize the environmental impact, among other things, by increasing the fill rate on transport. We make demands that our hired carriers have at least Euro 5 and thus we reduce our CO2 emissions. Certificates are available for downloading below.

Environment and sustainability
REACH
REACH is a chemical legislation that replaces large parts of the chemical regulations that applied before 1 June 2007 in the EU and Sweden. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. In Swedish: Registration, evaluation, approval and restriction of chemicals. REACH also contains requirements for users of chemicals, which is not covered by previous legislation..
RoHS
How is Tibnor's products affected by the directive? The RoHS 2 Directive (2015/863 / EU) restricts the use of mercury, cadmium, lead, hexavalent chromium and the flame retardants PBB and PBDE in new electrical and electronic components placed on the market after 1 July 2006. From 2013, this directive is incorporated into Swedish legislation with Regulation (2012: 861).
Tibnor SRR statement
The SRR (Ship Recycling Regulation, 1257/2013/EC) is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to prevent, reduce, minimize and, to the extent practicable, eliminate accidents, injuries and other adverse effects on human health and the environment caused by ship recycling.
